The H Plus Son Hydra rim is designed for modern disc brake road and gravel bikes, carrying over the classic character of the Archetype series while updating the rim profile for wider tires and tubeless-compatible setups. Its 25mm external width and 20.2mm internal width provide stable tire support, while the 23mm rim depth keeps the wheel profile light, balanced and comfortable.
The rim is made from G609 aluminum alloy and uses a welded joint for improved structural quality. The Hydra rim does not feature a brake track and is not compatible with rim brake systems. It can be used with clincher tires and can also be set up tubeless with compatible tires, rim tape, valves and sealant.
The wheelset is paired with Ridea HT1 Track lightweight bolt-on hubs, using 100mm front and 120mm rear spacing.
