The Chips backpack is inspired by the “party opening” structure of a potato chip bag. Its basic construction is a traditional roll-top backpack, where the upper section can be rolled down and secured with buckles on both sides. At the same time, the front of the bag features a vertical waterproof zipper, allowing direct access to the inside without opening the roll-top every time.
The roll-top closure offers two different positions. When you need more capacity, the upper section can be extended upward and rolled down. When riding a bike or when you want more space behind your head, the buckles can be clipped to the webbing at the top of the shoulder straps. Both options provide a stable and secure way to close the bag, depending on load and activity.
External mesh pockets on the back and sides are useful for carrying bottles, snacks, tissues, wet wipes or other items you want to access quickly. Side drawcords can be used to hold trekking poles, an umbrella or a thin jacket, keeping your hands free during movement.
Large shoulder strap pockets are one of Welldone’s signature details and can also be found on many of the brand’s messenger bags. They are convenient for carrying a phone, energy bar, transit card or other small essentials that you may want to keep within reach.
This model is made with PAC VX21, polyester double warp knit mesh, polyester eyelet mesh and high-density nylon shoulder straps. It has a 30L capacity and is available in red, khaki and army green.
