The US-L uses a unique split binding system that provides better stability once the shoe is engaged with the pedal, while requiring only minimal torque for clipping in and releasing. This design helps reduce the learning curve for beginners and makes everyday riding, long-distance riding and frequent stop-and-go situations easier to manage.
Spring tension can be adjusted in 3 levels, allowing riders to tune engagement and release feel according to strength, preference and riding needs. Lower tension is suitable for beginners or riders who prefer easier release, while higher tension offers a firmer connection for more stable pedaling support.
The pedal rotates on an ultra-low-friction triple-sealed bearing system, providing smooth rotation while helping protect the bearings from dust and moisture. For long-distance riders, commuters and daily training use, it offers a stable and efficient pedaling experience.
This model includes MKS’s original US-L cleat kit, compatible with three-hole cycling shoes. It is also compatible with Look KEO 0° and 4.5° floating cleats. Please note that it is not compatible with KEO Grip cleats or KEO 9° floating cleats. Please confirm your shoe and cleat compatibility before installation.
