The BROOKLYN GANGSTA V4 Frameset in Mustard Yellow is one of the latest versions of Brooklyn Machine Works’ iconic fixed gear frame.

The GANGSTA was originally born from the idea of Joe, the founder and designer, who wanted to create a bike that could be ridden casually to the bar and freely through the city. That direct, rugged and lifestyle-focused concept reflects the spirit of BROOKLYN MACHINE WORKS.

The V4 is not just a remake of the V1. It has been reviewed and updated with improved details. One of the most notable features is the removable brake mount design. When brakes are not needed, the brake and brake mounts can be removed for a cleaner frame appearance. When brake use is required, compatible Canti / V Brake mounts can be installed for added everyday practicality.

Both the frame and fork are made from CR-MO steel, offering durability, stability and the ride feel expected from a steel fixed gear frame. The frameset uses a 1-1/8" / IS42 headset standard, BSA 68mm bottom bracket, 100mm front spacing, 120mm rear spacing, 27.2mm seatpost and 29.8mm seat clamp.

Tire clearance is up to approximately 40c at the fork and 30c at the frame, depending on tire brand and rim combination. The Mustard Yellow finish gives the frame a retro, bold and street-ready character, making it a strong choice for riders building a fixed gear bike with utility, personality and Brooklyn style.
