The Thomson HB-E136 Carbon 35mm Handlebar is a premium carbon MTB handlebar designed for riders who want a light, strong, and refined cockpit setup. With a 35mm clamp diameter, 800mm width, 20mm rise, 9° backsweep, and 5° upsweep, it delivers a stable and confident feel for trail, all-mountain, and race-oriented riding.

Made with Toray carbon fiber and Thomson’s tailor-made Nano Epoxy Resin, this handlebar is engineered for high impact resistance and structural stability. It is strong enough for demanding mountain bike use while offering enough controlled flex for all-day riding comfort.

Thomson carbon handlebars are molded with an EPS inner mandrel instead of a cheaper bladder-style process. This helps prevent inner wall wrinkles during vacuum bagging and creates a clean one-piece molded structure with carefully engineered stiffness, flex, and low weight.

The satin UD carbon finish gives the bar a clean, premium look. Pair it with Thomson Elite 35mm X4 stems for a lightweight, stiff, and high-quality MTB cockpit.

For installation, use a torque wrench and follow the recommended 5Nm torque specification. Friction paste is recommended when installing carbon handlebars with an alloy stem. The bar may be cut down if needed, but enough space should remain for grips and controls. Thomson notes that bars cut narrower than 650mm may ride harshly.

This handlebar is intended for premium racing, trail, and all-mountain use. It is not designed for hardcore downhill use where frequent heavy crashes are expected. If the handlebar is scratched, gouged, or damaged from crash impact, stop using it and have it inspected or replaced.
